Our Mission and Values

Devpan’s mission is to build switchboards that distribute energy safely, efficiently and without interruption, calculated, verified and documented. What keeps this mission alive every day are six core values that our team shares and carries from the design desk to the site: safety, respect for people, innovation, engineering discipline, environmental responsibility, and transparency and traceability.

Mission

Calculated, Documented Energy

A switchboard is more than the sum of the equipment inside it. How much current it will carry at what ambient temperature, what it will withstand during a short circuit and which section can be isolated in a fault must all be calculated in advance. This is exactly where we define our mission at Devpan: to make these calculations, verify them and put them in writing. We approach every project from an engineering perspective and develop high-quality, flexible solutions tailored to each sector. From industrial plants to infrastructure investments, we aim to deliver systems that create long-term value and remain manageable throughout the facility’s life.

What We Promise

A clear scope, a single point of contact and a process without surprises. If there is a technical constraint, we say so from the start; if a revision is needed, we present its reason and impact together. Not delaying bad news is not a courtesy for us but a working rule.

What We Measure

First-time-right production rate, number of revisions after approval, non-conformities found in factory testing and feedback from site. We don’t settle for feeling that things improve; we track it in numbers.

Our Values

Six Values That Guide Us

Values are useless as a list on the wall. Each of the six headings below has a concrete meaning in our daily decisions.

Safety Above All

Touch protection, internal separation level and arc risk are addressed at the very first design step. We see safety not as a cost item but as a non-negotiable requirement.

Respect for People and the Team

The quality of the work is directly linked to the conditions of the people doing it. A safe working environment, continuous training and a culture where ideas can be voiced freely are our priorities.

Innovative Thinking

We decide on the basis of reasons, not habits. If there is a better topology, a better material or a simpler solution, we drop the habit.

Engineering Discipline

Every claim is backed by a calculation or a test. Compliance with standards is not a marketing phrase but a process tracked with checklists.

Environmental Responsibility

Loss-reducing design, segregated production waste, recovered copper and low-emission painting processes build sustainability into production.

Transparency and Traceability

The materials used, tests performed and approvals obtained are all on record. Customers can access everything we know about their own switchboard.

Responsibility

Who We Are Accountable To

Our employees

A Safe Workplace Where People Grow

Occupational health and safety practices, regular training, a technical career path and a working culture where ideas are heard.

Our customers

Accurate Information and Continuity

Realistic scope, open technical communication, a complete handover file and support that continues after delivery.

Environment and society

Responsible Production

Waste segregation, material recovery, design that improves energy efficiency and a contribution to local employment.

In Practice

How We Turn Our Values into Daily Work

  • Design review: No manufacturing drawing goes into production with a single person’s approval; a second engineer checks it.
  • Checklist culture: Each assembly, wiring and testing stage is closed with a signed checklist.
  • Open revision log: Every document version is archived with its date, reason and approver.
  • Material traceability: The brand, type and batch of critical equipment are recorded in the project file.
  • Customer-witnessed testing: Attendance at the factory acceptance test is encouraged, and results are shared in a signed report.
  • Site feedback: Every issue found during commissioning goes back to the design team and is prevented on the next project.
  • Mandatory training: When a new standard or new equipment is introduced, the team concerned does not start production before being trained.
  • Sharing knowledge: Our technical information pages are open to everyone; rather than keeping what we learn to ourselves, we share it with the industry.
A value is truly yours if you still apply it when it becomes costly; as long as it is easy, it is only a preference.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Mission and Values

What is Devpan’s mission?

Devpan’s mission is to build switchboards that distribute energy safely, efficiently and without interruption, calculated, verified to standards and fully documented.

What is the difference between mission and vision?

The mission defines what we do today and how we do it; the vision defines where we want to be in the long term. We describe our long-term goals on the Vision page.

What are your core values?

Safety, respect for people and the team, innovative thinking, engineering discipline, environmental responsibility, and transparency and traceability.

How do you prioritize safety?

Touch protection, internal separation level and arc risk are assessed at the first design stage; the degree of protection and form of separation are determined as a result. Details are on our Form Separation and IP Protection Class pages.

How do you prove your quality claims?

Through routine verification, insulation and continuity measurements, functional tests and factory acceptance tests open to the customer. All results are added to the handover file in signed reports.

What do you do for employee development?

When a new standard or new equipment is introduced, the team concerned does not start production before being trained. Young engineers are developed through a technical career path, site rotation and mentoring. For open positions, see our Human Resources page.

How do your sustainability values show in production?

Production waste is segregated, copper scrap is sent for recovery, low-emission methods are used in painting, and design choices that reduce energy losses are preferred. Details are on our Sustainability Policy page.

What does transparency mean for the customer?

When you ask which materials were used in your switchboard, which tests were performed and why a revision was made, you get an answer based on records. Every switchboard is linked to its project file by its serial number.
