This Information Notice has been prepared under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) to explain for which purposes your personal data is processed, to whom it may be transferred, on which legal grounds processing is based, how long the data is kept and what rights you have as a data subject.
1.Identity of the Data Controller
Your personal data may be processed by Devpan Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (hereinafter “DEVPAN” or the “Company”), as data controller, within the scope described below and in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”).
2.Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed by DEVPAN, in line with the fundamental principles laid down by the Law and within the processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, for the following purposes:
- Planning and carrying out the Company’s human resources policies and processes
- Carrying out the work required by our business units, and running the related business processes, so that the persons concerned can benefit from the products and services offered by the Company
- Planning and carrying out the activities needed to tailor the Company’s products and services to the preferences, usage habits and needs of the persons concerned, and to recommend and promote them
- Carrying out the work required by our business units for the Company’s commercial activities and running the related business processes
- Planning and executing the Company’s commercial and/or business strategies
- Ensuring the legal, technical and commercial security of the Company and of the persons in a business relationship with the Company
3.Recipients and Purposes of Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred by DEVPAN, within the processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and for the purposes below, to our business partners, suppliers, DEVPAN affiliates, legally authorized public institutions and legally authorized private persons:
- Planning and carrying out human resources policies and processes
- Providing products and services and running the related business processes
- Personalized recommendation and promotion of products and services
- Carrying out commercial activities
- Planning commercial and/or business strategies
- Ensuring legal, technical and commercial security
4.Method of Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected through various channels in order to carry out DEVPAN’s activities, on the legal grounds of ensuring compliance with legislation and Company policies. The data collected may be processed and transferred for the purposes stated in this Information Notice within the scope of Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
5.Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information on the processing if your personal data has been processed
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data has been transferred
- Request correction if your data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
- Request deletion or destruction of your data if the reasons for processing no longer exist
- Object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated systems
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
6.Retention of Your Personal Data
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purposes of processing require. When those purposes end, or when national/international regulations or contracts cease to apply, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
