What are the criteria for designing panels in African projects?
In West Africa, ambient temperature, humidity, and dust load differ significantly from those in European projects. Therefore, in panels intended for export, the enclosure protection class, heating calculations, and conductor cross-sections are re-evaluated according to field conditions. We explain in detail how the protection class is selected (IP protection class ) and how the busbar cross-sections are determined (copper current carrying capacities) on our respective pages. The choice of form separation method , which determines maintenance and intervention safety, is also decided upon with the customer during the project phase.
How does the process work for international shipments?
At Devpan, all international projects are managed from a single source. The process begins with project design ; fuselage manufacturing, internal assembly, and factory acceptance tests are completed in the same facility. Then, packaging suitable for overseas shipment is carried out, and the project is closed with on-site assembly, commissioning, and after-sales support services, if necessary. Managing all steps on the same line ensures traceable delivery of project-specific solutions.
