Sinpaş Aydos Country is a low-density development of villas and housing units adjoining woodland. On this project Devpan manufactured the central main distribution, the field intermediate panels and the lighting circuits spread across the extensive landscaped areas.

About the Project
In low-density developments bordering natural areas the electrical infrastructure faces two main difficulties: the long distance between supply points and outdoor conditions. Where the two combine, the distribution logic of a conventional residential project is no longer sufficient.
At Sinpaş Aydos Country the central main board works together with intermediate points distributed across the site. These intermediate points feed the villa groups and the amenity buildings, each with its own protection stage and its own metering. For panels located in the open, enclosure surface treatment and condensation control are planned separately. Security lighting and camera supply points are collected on a dedicated branch running around the perimeter of the development.
Devpan Scope and Switchboard Architecture
The Devpan scope reaches from central main distribution to the field intermediate panels and the amenity and perimeter security supplies.
- Main distribution boards (DevPanel): 2,500 A class, 65 kA / 1 s, central distribution with bus coupler arrangement.
- Field intermediate panels (DevBox): Separately metered intermediate stage feeding groups of villas.
- Landscape and perimeter lighting panels (DevPower): Road, garden and security lighting plus camera supply points.
- Amenity supply: Separately protected circuits for the clubhouse, pool plant room and sports areas.
- Power factor correction (DevComp): Small-step stepped compensation suited to a light and variable load.

Project-Specific Engineering Topics
Supply continuity for perimeter security
Cameras, barriers and perimeter lighting are collected on a separately protected branch; placing this branch on the generator-backed supply keeps the security system unaffected by an outage.
Protection coordination over long distances
As the distance between supply points grows, the fault current falls. Protection settings are selected so that a fault at the most remote point is still detected reliably.
Outdoor enclosures and condensation
Humidity is high in areas adjoining woodland. Enclosure heaters and filtered ventilation prevent condensation, and the surface treatment is selected to withstand corrosion.
Separating the amenity load
The pool, sports areas and clubhouse are fed from separately metered branches; the continuity requirement and the reactive character of these loads differ from the residential branches.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are protection settings recalculated on large developments?
Because cable impedance rises with distance from the supply point and the fault current falls. Protection set for short distances may not detect a fault at the most remote point quickly enough, so protection thresholds are verified against the most remote point.
Why is perimeter security fed from the generator-backed supply?
Because an interruption to cameras, barriers and perimeter lighting creates a security weakness across the development. Placing this branch on the generator-backed supply keeps the security system running during a mains outage.
What is the installed power at Sinpaş Aydos Country?
A villa and housing development of this scale has an installed power of approximately 3,200 kVA, with a typical transformer configuration of 2 x 1,600 kVA. The main busbar is rated at 2 x 2,500 A.
