Avrupa Konutları Yaman Evler — Residential Development Switchboard Project

Avrupa Konutları Yaman Evler is one of the branded residential developments produced in series and handed over on a short programme. On this project Devpan manufactured a switchboard family derived from a single type design — main distribution, block sub-distribution, compensation and lighting panels — to suit that compressed delivery schedule.

About the Project

About the Project

In serially produced residential brands the most visible characteristic of the electrical infrastructure is repetition. Block types are limited, apartment layouts resemble one another, and the same solution is reused across different developments. Handled correctly, that repetition shortens both manufacturing time and the number of errors made on site.

At Avrupa Konutları Yaman Evler the switchboard family is approached on exactly that logic: every block type has a predefined board configuration, and all blocks on the site are derived from those configurations. Labelling, component brands and busbar arrangement are tied to a single standard. Site management therefore works with one maintenance procedure, and the spare part inventory is simplified.

Scope

Devpan Scope and Switchboard Architecture

The Devpan scope reaches from main distribution at the transformer outgoing side to the block metering panels. Repeatability and delivery speed are the two governing design criteria.

  • Main distribution boards (DevPanel): 2,500 A class, 65 kA / 1 s, main distribution with bus coupler arrangement.
  • Block sub-distribution and metering panels (DevBox): Repeatable configurations predefined for each block type.
  • Power factor correction (DevComp): Automatic stepped compensation with 7% detuned reactors.
  • Lighting and power panels (DevPower): Common area, car park, landscape and emergency lighting circuits.
  • Verification file: Type test references, label schedules and site test reports in one common format for every block.

Project-Specific Engineering Topics

Type configuration per block type

A single board configuration is defined for each block type. Because every block on the site is derived from it, manufacturing, installation and commissioning times are shortened appreciably.

Delivery programme and production planning

A repeated enclosure and component list allows materials to be procured in bulk, which is a decisive advantage on projects with a short delivery programme.

Reducing errors on site

Because the same labelling and the same busbar arrangement recur in every block, the installation team learns one layout only; the risk of connecting the wrong circuit or reversing phase sequence falls.

Simplified spares and maintenance

A single component list lets site management cover the whole development from a small spare part stock, and shortens response time when a fault occurs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does switchboard standardisation deliver on serial residential projects?

It pays back in three areas: manufacturing time falls because the same enclosure is built repeatedly, site errors fall because the installation team learns one layout, and operation becomes simpler because the spare part list and the maintenance procedure come down to a single standard.

What is the installed power at Avrupa Konutları Yaman Evler?

A residential development of this scale has an installed power of approximately 4,800 kVA, with a typical transformer configuration of 3 x 1,600 kVA. The main busbar is rated at 2 x 2,500 A.

Does a type configuration limit flexibility?

Not when it is set up properly. The type configuration fixes the recurring elements — enclosure, busbar arrangement and labelling — while the number of outgoing ways and the protection settings still vary with the block load. Standardisation and project-specific adaptation are therefore achieved together.
